A couple of times recently I have almost drowned whilst out running, wet would not even start to describe it! Where's the summer gone? As most regular readers will know, I am a great believer in the benefits of compression socks, top tip, got some new socks from Alistair at www.slstri.co.uk. Sounding more like a racing Mercedes than a pair of socks, SLS3s are the socks that I will be wearing from now on and using them for longer/recovery runs. I also use a second pair while at work to aid recovery, the best support by a long way. Ordering another couple of pairs today and throwing my Nike compression socks in the bin. You may look pretty daft but trust me on this, once you have worn compression socks you will be hooked"
